Graham Shapiro Foundation partnership June 2025 At Markden Homes, we are proud to be part of a force for good through our partnership with the Graham Shapiro Foundation. Driving meaningful change across the UK, the Foundation supports a range of initiatives focused on mental health, veteran support, dementia care, and youth empowerment. We began supporting the Foundation earlier this year and are already seeing the positive impact our contribution is making in communities across the country. From working with leading charities such as Mind, the Mental Health Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society, Help for Heroes, and YoungMinds, to delivering its own Self-Leadership Programme that equips young people with the tools to build resilience and well-being, it’s a partnership that truly reflects our values. Given the current climate and the growing importance of mental and emotional support, we couldn’t be prouder to be involved in something that makes a real difference in people’s lives. Together, our shared efforts are enabling these charities to deliver life-changing services: Alzheimer’s Society is advancing research and providing critical support to families affected by dementia. Help for Heroes continues to empower veterans, whose lives are transformed through accessibility and mental health support. Mind and the Mental Health Foundation are reaching more people through digital innovation, counselling, and awareness campaigns. YoungMinds is expanding peer support and advocacy for youth mental health, contributing to the rollout of new government-backed support hubs. These achievements highlight just how powerful collaboration can be. As Sarita Faulkner from the Mental Health Foundation put it, “Kind and ongoing gifts make such a significant difference.” At Markden Homes, we believe in building more than homes, we believe in building a better future. We’re honoured to continue this meaningful partnership with the Graham Shapiro Foundation and look forward to supporting even more life-changing initiatives in the years ahead.
